You see, the odds are very good that you're banging your head against a wall right now trying to build your network marketing business. The odds are also very good that you're needlessly doing so.
Entrepreneurialism has been a way of life for me for 53 years. I love it now more than I ever did - especially with the internet - it just keeps growing and growing. As it expands, I embrace the opportunity it presents. It just means more and more people that are looking for what we have and more places to advertise and new websites pop-up.
I started at a very early age running my on businesses. I have many different companies that I've incorporated through the years - far to many to mention here.
I've spent the last 30+ years in information systems with over half of that with the United States Air Force. My background in systems design started in the early 1970's when we were programming in DOS. For those of you that are not familiar with that term - it's Disk Operating System.
I closed out my Air Force career in the 1990's and basically started designing my own systems at about the same time the internet was just getting off to a good start.
The last system I remember working on, for the Air Force, cost the taxpayers $650 million. A great system that was basically an intranet within the US Air Force. I can still remember back in the very early 1980's when we where playing with the very first Emails - boy was that a thrill for all of us at Headquarters Air Force.
Over the years, I've put together many websites. I formed many companies. And, I've established many good relationships with other people throughout the world. I've seen many many companies spring up - only to ultimately fail. The ones that are still around are the ones that always knew the inside secrets to effective marketing.
The main reason that I've found for all the failure is not knowing how to market effectively. Everyone who starts a new business that ultimately fails, does so because of not knowing how to implement effective marketing strategies.
Besides testing, debugging, and implementing code for the US Air Force, I also had the honor (if you can call it that) of putting lesson plans together. Not only did I get the honor of transcribing it all into words for the layperson, the next thing I knew I was in front of a classroom with 50 or so people instructing them, for normally two weeks at a time, on how my new system worked and how to use it for their benefit.
I just cannot even begin to relay the many many hours of time I spent putting lesson plans together. In amongst all that, I managed to ascertain my Masters Degree (MBA in Management) from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.
I spent considerable time in my college years focusing on three subjects in particular. One being Accounting and the others being Marketing and Total Quality Management. The Air Force seemed to supply all my educational needs on systems design and implementation.
I was drawn toward Accounting because of two reason. First, I've always liked working with numbers. Studying proper Accounting techniques helped re-enforce my own part-time business adventures I was in during the early 1970's. I wanted to make certain that my bottom line was always BLACK and not RED - and, I wasn't about to leave that up to some professional accountant because I could not afford one, at that time, even if I wanted to retain one.
Secondly, my love for Marketing and Quality has yet to cease. I still stay focused in this area with ever piece of material that's out there on the market. Knowing how to market literally means the difference between success or failure - especially on the internet.
Being as though part of my early career was being an educator, I started focusing on why so many new people, that enter the internet market, with truly good intentions, wind up failing in their endeavors. So, I started putting things down in writing like I had to do back in my Air Force days.
What I came up with was one central theme. Most people who sign on with companies are given a bunch of hoop-and-holler hype, have their hands tied with corporate compliance and thrown to the wolves to sell their products or services with no, or very little, training in how to market. They're always told that their product is the best on the market and superior to any out there.
Moreover, 99%+ of the time, if they do get any training in marketing, it's the blind leading the blind. This normally results in failure after they have aggravated their friends, family, co-workers, et cetera to death with their newfound opportunity.
When I think of these old, outdated technique's, my gag refluxes are suddenly invoked. I'll tell you now, this is not the way to market for real success on the internet or anywhere else for that matter.
One of the biggest concerns that I had was how to expose what's really going on behind the scenes with internet marketing and how I was going to bring it all to light for the layperson.
So I, along with some other colleagues that have the same concerns and passion, decided we were going to deliver to anyone who wants it, as many secrets as we can, to the general public at-large, FREE OF CHARGE, that made us a fortune on the internet.

One of my favorite industries is the Travel Industry. Why? Because I'm one of those Baby-Boomers that loves to travel and I have no desire to retire, live in one place, grow old, fade away and leave no real impact for mankind to benefit from. If you're putting all your eggs into one basket by concentrating all your efforts on one company - let me ask you this? Where will you be if suddenly the company you're marketing for ceases to exist.
What's that - you say? It will never happen with your company! I beg you to think again. It's happened to the best of the best at one time or another.
I can probably name you at least a dozen companies that will cease within the next 10 years - one is probably the one you're involved with right now. Why will they cease? Because, they are still pushing those same old ridiculous marketing techniques. Hoop-And-Holler -- "We've got the best product on the market folks - go get them - your fortune is just over the horizon - Yahoo Yahoo Yahoo!"
But like I said, Marketing is a passion with me. Frankly, I would expect that I'll have nearly 300 website by years end while most everyone else is still working with that same website that their company gave them when they signed on with no way of even getting it listed on any search engine.
Let me inform you of a little secret. The Big Boy's or Girl's in successful internet marketing have dozens if not hundreds of unique, well developed, websites that are at the top of all the search engines.
With the travel industry producing at $7 Trillion annually and expected to be at $14 Trillion by 2010, now is the perfect time for me to harvest all I can, and capitalize for my children's children and their children as well.
I can tell you for certain, that if you have the right effective marketing approach, it's a goldmine waiting to be harvested. Not just in the travel industry, but within any industry. Implementing the right marketing techniques, can launch you from where you're at right now, to the very best top producer in your company or field.
